Lucknow Super Giants’ Trent Boult bowled a superb ball to Rajasthan Royals’ Quinton de Kock. It was a delivery that left the batter helpless. This happened in their IPL 2024 match at Ekana Cricket Stadium on April 27.

The left-hander started his innings on a high note, hitting back-to-back boundaries in the first over, but was undone by Trent Boult’s brilliance. Quinton de Kock walked off for only eight runs off three balls, and table toppers RR struck quickly.

Trent Boult threw a decent length ball around off stump, and De Kock attempted to play to the leg side. However, the ball straightened after striking the seam and beat the hitter before colliding with the stumps.

A precise bowling performance helped RR secure two early wickets against LSG in the IPL on Saturday. That happened after skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl. Apart from Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma returned Marcus Stoinis, who scored a century in his last match against Chennai Super Kings, for a four-ball duck.

The Super Giants were 87/2 after 9.2 overs, with skipper KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda at the crease.

The Super Giants will attempt to revenge their 20-run setback to RR earlier this season. They are coming off straight wins against CSK at home and away and will like to maintain their winning streak.
