Sunil Narine smashed an outstanding century against Rajasthan Royals. But Trent Boult bowled a fabulous delivery to end Narine’s brilliant innings. Kolkata Knight Riders faced Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens on Tuesday for the 2024 IPL match.
Trent Boult unleashed a ferocious full delivery that tailed in and caught Narine all ends up. The left-handed hitter was a little late in lowering his bat, resulting in the ball creeping through the space between the bat and pad and smacking into the leg stump. Trent Boult approached Narine and congratulated him on his wonderful knock.
Sunil Narine was removed in the 18th over, just as KKR were about to reach 200 runs for the innings.

Narine exited having amassed 109 runs from just 56 balls, striking at a phenomenal 194.64. His maiden T20 ton comprised 13 boundaries and six towering sixes. He contributed nearly half of the team’s total in the opening innings.
The left-handed opener has been in stellar form, topping the order. Across six matches, he has tallied 276 runs, with two of his top two T20 scores coming within three innings.
Trent Boult has dismissed Sunil Narine twice in the IPL
Aside from the last match, Boult has defeated Narine twice in the IPL. The left-handed batsman was removed twice by the left-arm bowler during the 2018 season, while he was a member of the Delhi Capitals organization.
KKR struck a huge 223/6 in the first innings, thanks to Sunil Narine searing century. Although RR bowlers were able to bring things back with wickets at the end, KKR comfortably reached the 200-run mark and offered a strong threat to RR in the chase.
