Delhi Capitals explosive opening batsman Jake FraserMcGurk sadly had to depart for a twoball duck getting caught at longon during the ongoing 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) faceoff against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The heartwrenching incident played out at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday May 14.

DC were sent in to bat first after losing the toss, and it was up to Abishek Porel and Jake Fraser-McGurk to get the team off to a solid start. The latter was up against Arshad Khan, one of many alterations to the LSG bowling lineup for today’s match.

The left-arm pacer began with a few of wides, and the first batter played and missed one of the match’s first legal deliveries. The field set was heavily leg-side dominated, with a deep square leg and a long on put from the start.

The obvious strategy succeeded, as Jake Fraser-McGurk attempted to take on Arshad Khan right down the ground with the following delivery. Despite the magnificent bat swing, the connection was poor, and Naveen-ul-Haq made an easy catch.
