SRH set a 267-run target for DC in IPL 2024 clash

For SRH, this was their third 250+ total this season. Earlier, they scored 287 and 278 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians respectively.
Head dominated with the bat, hitting 89 runs off 32 balls in an innings that included six maximums and 11 boundaries. The left-hander and Sharma formed a 131-run partnership for the opening wicket. The latter also scored 46 from 12 deliveries, including six sixes and two boundaries.
Meanwhile, Shahbaz Ahmed remained undefeated with 59 off 29, hitting five sixes and two boundaries. Nitish Reddy contributed 37 runs off 27 balls, including two sixes and as many boundaries.
Kuldeep Yadav was the Capitals’ highest wicket-taker, finishing with four wickets but conceding 55 runs in four overs. Mukesh Kumar and Axar Patel both claimed one wicket each.
At the time of writing, DC were 138/4 after eight overs, with Tristan Stubbs and skipper Rishabh Pant on the pitch. Abhishek Porel was the final batsman to be removed, stumped by Heinrich Klaasen off Mayank Markande.
