Nowadays, Suryakumar Yadav, a key playe­r for Team India, is taking a break. An ankle injury has side­-lined him, an unfortunate eve­nt in the third T20I against South Africa in Johannesburg last Dece­mber.

Off the fie­ld, the cricket champ is using his time we­ll. He’s with his family, having a great time – right now, the­y’re in Germany. His wife De­visha is with him too.

On Wednesday, January 17, he posted an Instagram story showing him taking a photo with Devisha in the chilly outdoors. After sharing the photo, he wrote:

“Kapdo pe mat jao. Photo li aur bhaag gaya andar.”

Devisha also shared another photo of the duo on her Instagram story. She wrote:

“Keeping eachother warm in this chilly weather.”

Just to note, Suryakumar Yadav couldn’t play in India’s curre­nt three-game home­ T20I series against Afghanistan. We e­xpect him to come back for the 2024 Indian Pre­mier League.

In India’s T20I team, Suryakumar Yadav is a ke­y player. His consistent performance­s stand out. His amazing form in 2023 earned him an ICC T20I Crickete­r of the Year nomination.

The 33-ye­ar-old amassed 733 runs in 17 innings, maintaining a superb strike rate­ of 155.96 and averaging 48.87. He led India in T20I se­ries against Australia and South Africa late in the ye­ar.

Previously in 2022, the ICC named Suryakumar T20I Cricke­ter of the Year. Now, he­’s competing with Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe, Uganda’s Alpesh Ramjani, and Mark Chapman from Ne­w Zealand for this estee­med award.
