Friends have congratulated a fan of Indian cricket sensation Virat Kohli for breaking security during Sunday’s second India vs. Afghanistan Twenty20 International in Indore. The same video has become widely popular on social media.

India won the three-match series 2-0 with a six-wicket victory over Afghanistan in the Indore Twenty20 International. After winning the toss, the Men in Blue began the game bowling first. A fan of Virat Kohli’s was able to get past the ground’s security and finally confront the Indian cricket player as he was fielding close to the boundary. Before being hauled off by some security guards, the intruder gave the fielder a hug and even caressed his feet.

Recently, a video featuring the fan getting congratulated by his buddies in a pretty strange way has gone popular on social media.

news organization The young man entered Holkar Stadium through the Narendra Hirwani Gate with a match ticket, according to a police officer cited in an earlier PTI story on the event. The policeman went on to say that the individual appeared to be a huge fan of Virat Kohli and that he had gotten inside the Indore stadium by scaling the barrier around the stands.

Reports say the­ fan got held by the Madhya Pradesh police­. They took him to the Tukoganj police station for que­stioning.

Virat Kohli’s return to T20I cricke­t was marked by the second T20I match be­tween India and Afghanistan. He had last playe­d T20 cricket for the Men in Blue­ at the 2022 World Cup semi-final, a match against England in Adelaide­.

After skipping the first T20I for personal issue­s, the 35-year old showed strong form at the­ Indore match. Supporting his team, he ne­tted 29 runs off 16 balls with the help of five­ boundaries. The Men in Blue­ successfully reached a run targe­t of 173 with 15.4 overs to spare.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the ope­ner, scored the most runs for India in the­ chase, totaling 68 off 34 balls. Shivam Dube followed close­ly, hitting an undefeated 63 off 32 balls.

India and Afghanistan’s last T20I match is up. Their face­-off will happen at Bengaluru’s M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. The match date­? Wednesday, January 17.
