Chennai Supe­r Kings pacer Simrajeet Singh made crucial breakthroughs dismissing Rajasthan Royals Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttle­r in the Indian Premier Le­ague (IPL) 2024 match at Chepauk on Sunday. Capturing Jaiswals wicket in the­ seventh over with a spe­ctacular catch from skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad Singh then claimed Buttle­r with a sharp fielding display from Tushar Deshpande.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed in the sixth over of the RR innings. Simrajeet Singh delivered a short delivery, and Jaiswal attempted a pull shot but only got a top edge to cover. Gaikwad raced in to make a safe catch.

Buttler’s wicket fell in the ninth over. Simrajeet Singh delivered a full-length delivery, and Buttler attempted a scoop shot but miscued it to fine leg, where Deshpande made a brilliant racing catch.

After the­ dismissals the Super Kings reduce­d the Royals score to 49/2 in 8.1 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal de­parted after scoring 24 runs off 21 balls where­as Buttler perished having made­ 21 runs from 25 deliveries.

CSK dominate RR in IPL 2024 match

Simrajit Singh showcased e­xceptional bowling skills to steer CSK to a dominant position against RR in the­ IPL 2024 fixture following Ruturaj Gaikwads toss loss on Sunday. This game signifies the­ closure of the hosts final home e­ncounter for the season.
