On Tuesday, December 5, Team India’s standout keeper-batter Rishabh Pant sent an uplifting message on his Instagram story. The gifted child emphasized the value of smiling and moving on from a problem.

Following a horrifying vehicle accident in December of last year, Pant has been sidelined. In 2024, the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) may mark the long-awaited comeback of the southpaw in cricket.

Former India opener Aakash Chopra feels Rishabh Pant would be one of the frontrunners for India’s Test leadership once Rohit Sharma retires.

Chopra believes India might look to Rishabh Pant or Shubman Gill for leadership in red-ball cricket. Chopra stated in his most recent YouTube video:

“I am talking about extremely long-term, it could be Shubman Gill. I am not talking about now, I am talking about the distant future. It could be Rishabh Pant. Pant as a Test cricketer is 24-carat gold.”

He added:

“So, he could also be the one. He is a game-changer. So I will look towards one of these two once Rohit says he is done with Test cricket and that you can appoint someone else as the skipper.”
