MS Dhoni, the former captain of India, posed for a few photos alongside Ranveer Singh, a popular Bollywood actor. The illustrious wicket-keeper batter, who was last seen playing cricket, won the IPL 2023 title with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in May of this year.

Ranveer Singh recently appeared in the 2023 ODI World Cup’s official hymn, Dil Jashn Bole, which was published by the ICC. The song was written by renowned Bollywood composer Pritam, and it included Ranveer as well as numerous other influential people, including Dhanashree Verma.

On Thursday, Ranveer Singh posted images of himself and the ex-skipper on his official Instagram account. His caption read:

MS Dhoni Always Puts the Team Above Himself, Says Sreesanth

Recently, former Indian bowler Sreesanth expressed the opinion that Dhoni never focused more on accumulating runs than on helping India win matches.

In response to Gautam Gambhir’s claim that Dhoni makes sacrifices for the team, he replied this. Gambhir stated that Dhoni would have scored many runs if he had batted at position three, but he chose to play the team’s finisher instead.

Sreesanth exclusively discussed this with Sportskeeda and stated:

“Gautam Bhai said recently that Dhoni would have scored more runs had he batted at No.3. But for MS Dhoni it was always about more victories than more runs. He always had the ability to finish games when the team needed him and he won two World Cups as well.”

“Credit should go to Dhoni, but he didn’t sacrifice his batting position. He worked a way to find out which players would do well for the team in which position and then slot them in those positions accordingly. His captaincy had the ability to bring the best out of his players. He has always thought about the team first.”
