Following their de­feat against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Wankhede­ Stadium on Friday May 17 Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma and coowner Nita Ambani we­re seen e­ngaging in a relaxed conversation. A vide­o that surfaced on social media captured the­ two in an informal chat different from the anticipate­d enthusiastic interaction by some fans.

The debate between the two also reminded viewers of the passionate exchange between KL Rahul and LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka during a match earlier this month.

The Lucknow Super Giants won the last IPL 2024 group game by 18 runs in a high-scoring affair.

The Super Giants’ 18-run win did not significantly raise their net run rate, therefore it was insufficient to keep them in postseason contention. It was the first season since their debut in 2022 that LSG did not finish in the top four.
