Mitchell Johnson, a former Australian fast bowler, reportedly said that India’s great batsman Virat Kohli was his easiest wicket during his playing days.

Johnson made these comments in response to one of Kohli’s followers on his official Instagram account. A fan responded on the former Australian cricketer’s tweet, claiming to be Kohli’s favorite bowler.

In response to the remark, Mitchell Johnson wrote:

“He was my easiest to get out.”

Following his words, Mitchell Johnson was widely mocked by Indian fans, and his post was filled with Kohli comments. Notably, the two cricket players had a heated rivalry on the pitch.

In the match, though, Kohli was the stronger player. Johnson only succeeded in taking the Indian batter’s wicket four times throughout their fourteen international cricket matches together.

In 2018, Johnson declared he was quitting cricket professionally. 590 wickets in all forms marked the end of the left-arm pacer’s stellar career. Among Australia’s all-time best left-arm pacers, he is highly regarded.

Australia won two ODI World Cups with him on their team. Johnson took home 15 scalps in the 2015 championship campaign, after not even making the starting XI in the 2007 edition.

Mitchell Johnson didn’t back down after some Virat Kohli fans tried to harass him in the comments section of one of his latest Instagram postings.

During one of the encounters, the left-arm pacer stated that he has no idea who Kohli is. In another, Johnson said that even if he bowled with his right hand, he could overpower the former India captain.

Take note, Johnson made news due to his latest remarks about Australian opening player, David Warner. The 42-year-old employed terms such as “arrogant” and “disrespectful” to portray Warner in his recent column.

He also chastised the southpaw for failing to report the 2018 ball-tampering affair.
