Chris Jordan is said to have joined the Mumbai Indians (MI) as a replacement player for the IPL 2023 season. The England all-rounder went unsold in the December auction, but he has now returned to the league.

According to ESPNCricinfo, the Mumbai Indians have signed Chris Jordan as a substitute player. It is unknown who he has replaced in the MI team for the IPL 2023. In their last match, the majority of the MI players were fit and available.

Jofra Archer was MI’s only injury concern. The England pacer recently underwent surgery in Belgium. MI coach Mark Boucher remarked, before the match against the Rajasthan Royals about his injury status:

“Yes, he was. I believe it was a minor surgery. We all know what Jofra can do. He’s been a fantastic bowler for many years now. So, he adds a different dimension to our attack.”
