On Saturday, May 6, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) speedster Mohammed Siraj got into a heated confrontation with Delhi Capitals (DC) wicketkeeper-batter Philip Salt at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

When Siraj delivered a deceptive bouncer in the fifth over. The right-handed batter looked to the square leg umpire for a wide indication right away. The pacer became enraged by Salt’s gesture and engaged in a verbal brawl.

DC captain David Warner, RCB captain Faf du Plessis, and umpires intervened to calm the scene. Siraj then put his finger to his lips and gestured for Salt to be quiet.

Salt smashed two sixes and a boundary off the first three deliveries of the over, prompting Siraj’s response. The footage of Salt’s lustful blows towards Siraj is shown below.

If Mohammed Siraj and Philip Salt violate the IPL code of conduct, they might face fines of up to 100% of their match money.

For those who are unaware, Siraj evaded a fine in the last game when his purposeful smashing of the stumps against Naveen-ul-Haq went unreported. During their last game against LSG, Virat Kohli’s altercation with Gautam Gambhir dominated the headlines.
