Virat Kohli was rumoured to be seeing a few other women before marrying Anushka, but none of his purported connections were confirmed.
On December 11, 2017, Virat Kohli married filmstar Anushka Sharma in a secret wedding in Italy, putting an end to any further speculation about his love life. The famous couple has since became a family following the birth of their daughter Vamika Kohli on January 11, 2022. However, before meeting Anushka, Virat was associated to various women after breaking onto the scene and becoming a prominent sportsperson.
1) Sarah Jane Dias
Kohli’s name was originally connected with Miss India Sarah Jane Dias in 2007. Kohli rose to prominence after being the Under-19 World Cup winning captain in 2008. He made his senior squad debut the following year. Meanwhile, rumours of an affair between him and Muscat born Sara began to circulate. Sara’s age, which was many years older than Kohli’s, made very little impact in these conversations. Later allegations appeared about Kohli’s separation with Sara, who worked in a number of Hindi and Tamil films. According to reports, they were unable to meet one other owing to their hectic schedules and hence parted ways.
2) Tamannah Bhatia
One of the most intriguing relationship rumours to surface was that of Virat Kohli and Tamannaah Bhatia. The two first met in 2012, when they appeared in a mobile commercial.
Tamannaah was eventually asked about the claims on a talk programme after seven years. “I think we spoke four words during the ad film, that is it,” the South beauty said, putting all speculations to rest. “After that, I’ve never met or spoken to Virat. But, I must say he was better than most of the actors we work with. And it was quite intimidating.”
3) Sanjjana Galrani
Virat Kohli was named Indian side’s “Most Eligible Bachelor” after he joined Vijay Mallya’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL following the 2011 World Cup victory. It was natural for her to draw models and actresses to Mallya’s gatherings in such a circumstance. Sanjana Galrani, who had earned a name for herself in South Indian cinema, was one of them. Photos of them began to circulate on social media. But both parties denied the affair. Sanjana also attempted to dispel these rumours by referring to herself as Virat’s buddy. When the IPL season finished, so did the talk about their relationship.
4) Izabella Leite
Izabelle Leite, a Brazilian actress, made her Bollywood debut in Aamir Khan’s ‘Talaash – The Answer Lies Within’. The film was released in 2012.
According to rumours, Virat Kohli and Izabelle dated for two years between 2012 and 2014. The pair never officially acknowledged their relationship, until it was ultimately discovered in 2013 that they were dating.
Izabelle spoke candidly about her relationship with Virat Kohli after their separation in an interview. “Yes, we were in a relationship for two years. This relationship ended with mutual consent,” she had said.
5) Ritika Sajdeh
According to an Indian Express article from 2013, Ritika Sajdeh worked for Virat Kohli. When Virat Kohli returned to India after visiting Zimbabwe, he was photographed in Mumbai with an unknown female.
Photographers were following them both while they were on a movie date. The girl with him appeared uneasy in the presence of the photographers, and she tried to cover up her face.
The female was later identified as sports talent manager Ritika Sajdeh. Ritika and Virat Kohli stayed friends as she married Rohit Sharma in 2015. Virat Kohli married Anushka Sharma in 2018.
6) Sakshi Agrawal
This Indian actress, who mostly works in the Tamil cinema business, was said to be Virat Kohli’s first girlfriend. Sakshi has also appeared in Kannada films. Their chemistry did not last very long. In the early years of Kohli’s cricket career, the couple had a connection that surfaced and lapsed.
