Reacting to the batter’s outstanding performance, his sister Shresta moved to Instagram and uploaded a narrative featuring photos of Shreyas’ key knocks in two Ranji Trophy finals. The first was his 117 from 142 balls in the 2015-16 season against Saurashtra in Pune. The second came against Vidarbha on Day 3 of the current Ranji Trophy final.

Shresta captioned the Instagram story with a nazar amulet and a crimson heart emoji.
