Wicketke­eperbatter Sanju Samson joyfully announce­d the arrival of his wife Charulatha Reme­sh in New York via a heartwarming social media post. Charulatha accompanie­d her husband just before the­ thrilling IndiaPakistan T20 World Cup 2024 showdown at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Ne­w York on Sunday June 9.

The wives of numerous Indian cricketers have joined their husbands in New York for the blockbuster T20 tournament. Charulatha also joined the bandwagon, and Samson welcomed her with an Instagram story.

Sanju Samson married Charulatha, his lifelong lover, on December 22, 2018, in Thiruvananthapuram.

The pair dated for five years and knew one other since college. Both are quite active on social media and frequently post each other’s photos.

The Kerala-born cricketer opened in the warm-up game against Bangladesh but failed to make an impact. He scored only one run and was consequently dropped from India’s playing XI for the campaign opener against Ireland.

Samson is poised to sit out again in the highly anticipated match against Pakistan, with the team management preferring the in-form Pant.
