Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper Sanju Samson faced a batting setback against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) during the IPL 2024 Eliminator in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Despite an encouraging start with 17 runs off 13 balls Samson failed to capitalize on his performance and was eventually stumped by Dinesh Karthik off Karn Sharmas delivery.
The dismissal happened in the eleventh over. Sanju Samson moved down the track, and Karn hit one wide outside the off-stump. The ball spun away from the batsman, and Sanju Samson failed to make a hit as Karthik quickly removed the bails. The right-hander had little chance of returning to the crease as he drifted sideways. He hurled the bat in fury after being dismissed.
