Shubman Gill has received a significant update from India’s captain Rohit Sharma, who also stated that he is still expected to play in the World Cup match against Australia. On the day of the mShubman Gilluch anticipated game, Rohit told the media that every player was well, adding that Shubman gill was ill but hadn’t yet been ruled out.

Ishan Kishan likely to replace Shubman Gill if unfit
If he is healthy, Gill will start the innings. If Gill is ruled out, Ishan Kishan appears to be almost certain to play in his debut World Cup match and face the new ball alongside Rohit. The left-handed hitter plays opener on a regular basis. Kishan has recently batted in the middle order since there is no room for him at the top.
The remaining Indian athletes are healthy and readily available for selection. At position three, Virat Kohli will continue to bat, and Shreyas Iyer will come in after him. KL Rahul will bat at number five and will maintain wickets as well.
