During the IPL match, Rohit Sharma hit Richardson for two colossal sixes. The MI captain unleashed powerful strikes, sending the ball sailing over the boundary. Meanwhile, his opening partner, Ishan Kishan, began swinging freely. Delhi won the toss and elected to field first.
The openers made the most of the fielding decision. Sharma’s initial onslaught off Ishant rapidly put him in the groove. Simultaneously, Kishan exhibited his attacking prowess from the outset. After three overs, the formidable duo had raced to 33 without losing a wicket.
Pant sent Jhye Richardson, a franchise debutant, into the assault in the fourth over. The Australian right-arm pacer had the difficult chore of bowling to Rohit Sharma in the powerplay, and as expected, he just needed one ball to latch onto him.
Sharma used his signature pull shot to send the ball into the stands. The bowler subsequently delivered a little fuller, but Sharma swiveled his bat and sent the ball in the same direction with perfect timing and a flick of the wrists for another six.

Following Rohit Sharma’s attack on Richardson, the spinners took the following over to continue MI’s superb powerplay. The opening batsman hit two boundaries off left-arm spinner Axar Patel before taking on Lalit Yadav for three boundaries to end the fielding limitation session.
MI scored 75 runs in the powerplay, and just as Rohit Sharma was about to change gears, Axar Patel removed him in the seventh over. The spinner suffocated the runs with a line of dot balls before breaking through Rohit Sharma’s resistance with a change of angle and a flatter delivery than the previous ones.
DC have clawed their way back into the game with wickets. Suryakumar Yadav was knocked for a two-ball duck, while Ishan Kishan was forced to walk back thanks to a superb reflex catch by Axar Patel.
