Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma was obviously frustrated after failing with the bat again in their IPL 2024 encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday at Wankhede Stadium.
Rohit Sharma had a great start in this season. He scored well at first. His scores were good enough to be among the top scorers. He also scored a hundred runs after many years. But lately, his scores dropped a lot. In five recent games, his scores were poor. He scored 4 runs from 5 balls. Then, he hit 11 runs from 12 balls. After that, he managed only 4 runs from 5 balls again. Next, he scored 8 runs from 8 balls. Lastly, he could score just 6 runs from 5 balls.
The 2024 T20 World Cup is near. Indian fans want Rohit Sharma to play well again. But Rohit failed to score big on Monday’s IPL 2024 match. Pacer Pat Cummins dismissed Rohit cheaply in the fourth over of the innings.
A handful of fans released a video and photos on X to show a sad Rohit Sharma in the dressing room after he was out against SRH in the chase. The Indian skipper appeared depressed and dissatisfied.
