Indian captain Rohit Sharma along with his teammate Shubman Gill was seen at the Mumbai airport on Sunday (February 11). Having a brief halt following the Vizag game, Team India is now coming back together before the Rajkot match.
At the moment the five-Test match series between the two teams stands equal at 1-1 after two games. The third Test will be played in Rajkot from Thursday (February 15).

At a promotional event in Mumbai, Rohit Sharma spoke about the necessity of open communication and trust within a team. The Indian team leader stated his emphasis on individually assuring all his players and boosting their confidence. Rohit stated this (as per Times of India):
“As a leader, it’s crucial to instill confidence in players and make them feel valued regardless of their role in the team. Each player’s contribution is essential to the team’s success, whether they play ten balls at No. 6 or 7.”
