England all-rounder Joe Root continued his strong bowling form by dismissing India skipper Rohit Sharma on Day 3 of the current third Test in Rajkot on Saturday (February 17). Root’s departure was the first breakthrough as India lost their opening wicket for 30.

The event occurred during the 12th over of India’s second innings. The off-spinner threw a full-length ball to the stumps, and Rohit missed the sweep stroke. The umpire ruled it not out, but Root encouraged England captain Ben Stokes to request a review.
