Dinesh Lad, Team India captain Rohit Sharma’s childhood coach, recently revealed that the renowned batter had told him that one day he would buy a luxurious Mercedes.
Lad described the event, stating that he and Sharma observed a Mercedes automobile on the road. He further mentioned that the batter had recently been picked for Mumbai’s Under-19 team.
The coach recalls Rohit Sharma expressing his wish to purchase the specific automobile. Lad stated that while he attempted to convince the child that it was a very costly automobile, his ward told him that one day he would make his dream a reality.
Speaking with SRG Sports, Lad stated:
“Once Rohit and I saw a Mercedes car, he said, ‘Sir, I will buy this car one day.’ I told him, ‘Are you mad? These are too expensive.’ But he said, ‘You see, I will buy it.“
