England has a 1-0 lead in the five-match series after their spectacular triumph in Hyderabad. To make matters worse, the hosts will be missing experienced players Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul in the second game.

Jadeja experienced a hamstring problem in the first Test, and Rahul reported discomfort in his right thigh muscle. The umpires have announced that these two, who played exceptionally well, will not participate in the second game in Vizag.

Sarfaraz Khan, who’s skilled with the bat, and the talented spin-bowling all-around performers: Washington Sundar and Sourabh Kumar, have been called up for support before the second Test. The match is scheduled at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium and will happen from February 2nd to 6th.

In England’s camp, Ollie Pope stood out, impressing everyone with an excellent 196-runs innings in the second half. India was unsuccessful in its run-chase in the fourth innings; they had a 231-run aim but managed to score just 202 before all players were dismissed on Day 4.

Tom Hartley, a debutant left-arm spinner, ripped through India’s batting, ending with an impressive seven wickets. Ollie Pope was chosen Player of the Match, however, for his outstanding batting performance.
