Day 1 of the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is over. India outplayed Australia at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on the first day of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. Australia’s Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bat first. The choice he made ended up being a disaster for his team. The Indians swept the Aussies out in the first inning, restricting them to only 177 runs. Ravindra Jadeja took 5/47 in 22 overs and was the match’s primary destroyer. Still, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj supported Jadeja. India has scored 77 runs for the loss of 1 wicket towards the end of Day 1. Rohit Sharma, the captain, is still batting and has already scored 56 runs from 69 balls. The 2023 India vs Australia series began with multiple records being broken.
