The Delhi Capitals (DC) team has decided to keep Prithvi Shaw for the next IPL 2024. Some have expressed astonishment at the DC management’s choice, given that Shaw was benched and struggled for runs in the previous season. It would be intriguing to watch if, in the upcoming season, Prithvi can live up to his management’s confidence in his hitting abilities.

Anil Kumble, a former Indian captain, has expressed the opinion that Prithvi Shaw should reflect and work toward reaching his full potential. Shubman Gill and other of Kumble’s colleagues have made a name for themselves in international cricket, surpassing him. On Jio Cinema, Anil Kumble stated:

“This is something that he needs to understand. Players who have played with him have gone ahead. For example Shubman Gill, who is one of India’s best players, and a young player who is looking at a future with the team for a long time. And Shaw has missed out on that. So this is simply a make or break season for him.”
