When the iconic Indian game show ‘KBC: Kaun Banega Crorepati’ posed a question about the ODI World Cup, the three participants ended up needing a couple of lifelines.
On a ‘Parivaar [family] special’ episode, the show’s presenter Amitabh Bachchan challenged three members of a family to name the two teams who participated in the 2019 World Cup Final and the opening game of the 2023 World Cup.

The three participants utilized the ‘Video Call a Friend’ lifeline to ask ‘Anna Kaka’ to answer the question first. He didn’t appear to be a cricket enthusiast because he had no idea what the proper response was.
Contestants Fail to Remember 2019 ODI World Cup Final Teams in ‘KBC’
After the ‘Video Call a Friend’ lifeline failed to assist them, the participants chose the ‘Double Dip’ lifeline, which provided them with two guesses. They started with Option A, England and Australia. However, it turned out to be a bad guess. They then predicted Option B, England and New Zealand, which was right.
In the 2019 World Cup Final, England and New Zealand played one of the most thrilling contests in cricket history. Cricket fans all around the globe still talk about how England won the globe Cup based on boundary count and the miracle boundary off Ben Stokes‘ bat while jogging. Still, it appears that the competitors were unaware of the game.
