Mohammed Siraj apologized to Mohammad Rizwan after accidentally hitting him while taking aim at the wickets during India’s T20 World Cup play against Pakistan in New York on Sunday (June 9). Rizwan returned the ball directly to the bowler.

The event occurred in the second over of Pakistan’s run chase. Mohammed Siraj delivered a full-length ball, which Rizwan pushed back to the speedster. Mohammed Siraj, who appeared hostile, sighed at the stumps as Rizwan left the crease.

The sharp throw struck Rizwan on the right hand before diverting towards the fine leg. The wicketkeeper-batter appeared to be in discomfort, but he stood up and scored a single. Mohammed Siraj approached Rizwan for a hasty apologies.
