KL Rahul, an Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, released a video on Instagram in which he had a fascinating exchange with colleague Jasprit Bumrah. Rahul began the video by explaining how he would begin his training session with some jogging followed by some batting in the nets.

The wicketkeeper-batter also alleged that Bumrah would make a sly remark about the fast bowler’s job being the most tough. It demonstrated how well Rahul knew Bumrah when the latter had to remark to him shortly after:

“Your job is easier, to bat, hide behind a bat.”

KL Rahul was overjoyed with his accurate prediction, and this is what he told the person filming the video:

“What did I tell you, did I call this or no?!”

KL Rahul will lead the Men in Blue in the three-match ODI series against South Africa starting on December 17, with notable players like skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah resting and Hardik Pandya still recuperating from his injury.

Rahul made a spectacular recovery from a protracted injury this year, hitting a century against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Despite the fact that India did not win the 2023 World Cup final, the wicketkeeper-batter demonstrated his value by hitting an incredible 97* against Australia in the tournament’s opening match.

Because of his outstanding wicketkeeping, he has been included to the Test team as a keeper with Ishan Kishan. Glovework in red-ball cricket differs greatly from that in limited-overs cricket, therefore it would be intriguing to see if India will trust Rahul ahead of Ishan in South Africa.
