The IPL 2023 final mid show thrilled spectators during the innings break on Monday, May 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The BCCI organised a spectacular mid show after the Gujarat Titans’ innings concluded in the IPL 2023 final. The event included performances by Jonita Gandhi and Divine, as well as a spectacular light and sound show.
A little over 100,000 individuals were expected to watch the IPL 2023 final between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The game was initially planned on Sunday however it had to be moved to the reserve day due to rain.
The match began on Monday evening, with MS Dhoni winning the toss and choosing to bowl first. The Titans batted superbly, scoring 214 runs in 20 overs.

Rain interrupted the IPL 2023 final soon after mid show
The match‘s second innings began following the end of the IPL mid show. Ruturaj Gaikwad & Devon Conway batted first. They scored 4 runs off 3 balls. The game was called off due to rain.
Fortunately, the rain has stopped and the ground crew has spent some time preparing the outfield and pitch for the play to resume. At 12:10 am IST, the authorities restarted the game, shortening it to 15 overs. The Chennai Super Kings’ revised target was 171 runs.
