Hardik Pandya is making his way to the top of the ICC Men’s T20I All-rounder Rankings, thanks to his strong performance in the recent India-New Zealand series. He achieved this by surpassing Mohammad Nabi to the second spot. In the final match at Ahmedabad, Pandya opened the bowling for the team and claimed a four-wicket haul, helping India to defeat the Blackcaps. Additionally, he scored 30 runs off 17 balls and took 4/16 from four overs.

Since taking over the captaincy of the Indian team after the 2022 T20 World Cup, Pandya has gained 250 all-rounder ranking points, only two points below the leader, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan.

Arshdeep Singh regained his form in the first T20I against New Zealand, resulting in an eight-place jump in the T20I Bowling Rankings to thirteenth. He finished the series with five wickets, including 2/16 in the deciding match.
