Lots of fans warmly greeted Rinku Singh and Gautam Gambhir when they came to Kolkata on Thursday (March 14). They will now start getting ready for IPL 2024.
For Gautam Gambhir, it was a happy return after seven years away. Kolkata fans love him a lot. He led KKR to win the IPL in 2012 and 2014. After two seasons with Lucknow Super Giants, Gambhir is back at KKR this year as a mentor.
The Kolkata franchise uploaded a video on their X Twitter to show fans how Gambhir was greeted at the airport today.

Venkatesh Iyer Highlights Gautam Gambhir’s Team-First Mentality for KKR
KKR batting all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer recently expressed his delight at the opportunity to play under Gautam Gambhir’s tutelage during the forthcoming IPL season.
“Gautam sir coming back is going to be a huge plus for KKR. I’m really looking forward to working with him. Whatever conversations I’ve had with him in the past, he has always talked about creating an impact for the team’s goals rather than personal milestones,” Venkatesh Iyer was quoted as saying by KKR.
