Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 19 runs in their IPL 2024 encounter on Tuesday, May 14, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. It was also DC’s last league game of the season.
They finished with 14 points after 14 games and a net run rate of -0.377. They are still in the postseason race, but their chances are low and rely on a number of favorable outcomes.
After losing the toss, the Capitals batted first and scored 208/4 in 20 overs thanks to a team effort. Abishek Porel (58), Tristan Stubbs (57), Shai Hope (38), and Rishabh Pant (33) all made significant contributions to their team’s impressive total.
