This season, the left-handed hitter has consistently stepped up for LSG. Prior to the current match, he had scored 363 runs in 12 innings with a strike rate of 162.05. He began his season with an outstanding half-century against the Rajasthan Royals. He followed up with cameos as LSG cruised through the first half of the league stage.

Despite LSG’s struggles, he has maintained his consistency, scoring runs at a rapid pace. Even with LSG’s crushing defeat to SRH, the southpaw and Badoni salvaged the innings. They propelled the side to a competitive total on paper, despite a dismal performance by the top order.
