A comfy gym setting with Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja sporting casual T-shirts and shorts, posing with enthusiastic thumbs-up signs. Which platform got the privilege of this post? During the current three-match home T20I series against Afghanistan, which also included the comebacks of veteran batsman Virat Kohli and regular captain Rohit Sharma, both Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzvendra Chahal were sidelined.
Recently, Jadeja nailed two wickets and hit 23 runs in two South Africa T20Is. In contrast, Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t make it to the XI, even though he was chosen for the three-match Proteas series. Surprisingly, this happened while the leg-spinner claimed 18 wickets in just eight games, keeping an economy rate of 3.70 during the 2023 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
