Virat Kohli is the star player of the Indian Cricket Team, and lately, he has been making headlines for all the right reasons. He has repeatedly proved his potential and proven himself to be one of the most dependable players in the Indian Cricket Team. The records he has set and the stats he has built are enough to justify the tag of ‘King’. Given that, we are sure he will dominate the series against Australia, and here are the reasons why we believe so:

King of all Formats!

Whether in T20 or ODI, Kohli has proved his potential as a worthy batter. He is a veteran that knows all the tricks and transitions required to make things work for the team. Virat knows how to use his white-ball cricket skill in red-ball cricket, and since he has recently shown his form and performance in the T20 & ODI series against Sri Lanka, he is all set for the test format as well.

Consistent track record against Australia

Kohli has to this date, played 36 test matches against Australia, where he made 1682 runs with an average of 48 runs. He has also shown exceptional gameplay against rivals David Warner, Steve Smith, and Mitchell Starc. We are sure his competitive side against the Aussies will brew up, leading to an excellent performance.

He needs it! We need it!

The ace batter of India was out of form in the past few years putting him under the radar of questions and objections. This series would help him revive his status as a star player in India. Also, the men in blue were seen struggling in the past world championships, and this test series is more of a do-or-die for the entire team.

Given all that, Virat Kohli will try to make it big this time in the forthcoming 4-match test series against Australia, which will start on February 8 at Nagpur.
