In a remarkable display of skill India outclassed Ireland in the T20 World Cup courtesy of Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharmas clinical batting finesse sealing a resounding eightwicket victory on a momentous Wednesday.
Pant stayed undefeated in the chase, scoring 36 runs off 26 balls, including two sixes and three boundaries. Captain Rohit also stayed undefeated with 52 off 37, with to three maximums and four boundaries. However, he retired after suffering an injury.
Earlier, India had dismissed Ireland for 96 in 16 overs. Hardik Pandya took three wickets, while Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah each claimed two.
