In ODIs against New Zealand, he has appeared in 30 matches, amassing 1528 runs at an average of 56.59, with five hundreds. Kohli’s best against the Kiwis was 154* in Mohali in 2016. In his 134-ball performance, he struck 16 fours and a six as India pursued 286 with seven wickets in hand.

The former captain of India has scored 105 in Guwahati (November 2010), 123 in Napier (January 2014), 121 in Mumbai (October 2017), and 113 in Kanpur (October 2017) in past ODI matches against New Zealand.

Other noteworthy one-day scores that Virat Kohli has against the Blackcaps are 64 in December 2010 in Jaipur, 63* in Vadodara, 78 in Hamilton, 82 in Wellington, 85* in Dharamsala (October 2016), and 60 in Mount Maunganui (January 2019).
