Usman Khawaja enjoys having fun both on and off the field. The Australian Test opener recently pulled a brilliant joke by releasing Virat Kohli’s photo on the ‘Willow Talk’ cricket podcast. The response occurred weeks after Kohli’s gate-crashing incident with Kagiso Rabada on the same event during the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The program presenter praised Khawaja on his partnership with Amazon Prime Video, which will broadcast the T20 World Cup in Australia. He mentioned that India against Pakistan will be one of the tournament’s most anticipated matches. Khawaja devised a fast joke by posting a photo of Kohli wearing the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) shirt to remind him of last month’s amusing episode.

Virat Kohli recently interrupted a cricket podcast on Willow Talk. Kagiso Rabada, a South African and Punjab Kings spinner, appeared on a live webcast prior of their game against RCB in Dharamsala on May 9. Rabada, wearing headphones, was astonished to see Virat Kohli behind his laptop screen.

Rabada stated:

“Virat Kohli is right there; he’s dancing.”

He then told Virat:

“I’m on a podcast.”

Virat asked:

“With who?”

Rabada replied:

“It’s called Willow Talk.”

Following the chat, the emcee instructed Rabada to ask Virat for a greeting on television. Kohli replied:

“Hello boys! What’s happening? Big boy KG here.”

The presenter, unaware that Rabada was wearing his headphones, questioned Virat:

“How’s he (Rabada) as a bowler?”

Kohli replied:

“I can’t hear anything, so I am just going to keep blabbering as I always do.”

Rabada then decided to answer the question. He said:

“He thinks I am a weak bowler.”

As Kohli left, Rabada continued:

“That’s a pretty cool guest on your show.”

Kohli was just awarded the Orange Cap for making the most runs in IPL 2024. However, the right-hander did not play in India’s 2024 T20 World Cup warmup game against Bangladesh on Saturday at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

The Men in Blue will face Ireland at the same site on June 5. Kohli will seek to get the tournament started well before of India’s high-octane opener against Pakistan on June 9.
