Punjab Kings’ skipper Shikhar Dhawan shared an emotional message for his son Zoravar during IPL 2024. The post featured a customized PBKS jersey with Zoravar’s name printed on the back. On Wednesday, April 17th, Dhawan uploaded some images to Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt caption for his young child.
Dhawan captioned his post:
“You’re Always with Me, My Boy.”
Shikhar Dhawan frequently shares that he couldn’t interact with his son Zoravar often. Due to his split from ex-wife Aesha Mukerji, meeting regularly proved challenging.
The two were married in 2012. Mukerji is 12 years older than Dhawan and has two kids from a previous marriage. In December 2014, the couple had a baby son named Zoravar.
Dhawan and Mukerji split up after nine years of marriage. In October of last year, a Delhi court granted divorce to the famous batsman on stated grounds of’mental abuse’.
While the court permitted Dhawan to see his son and communicate with him via video conversations, he has been separated from Zoravar, who lives in Australia with Mukerji, an Australian citizen.
