Rajasthan Royals batsman Tom Kohler-Cadmore had a lackluster IPL debut against Punjab Kings at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on May 15. The righthanded English player scored only 18 runs off 23 deliveries feeling the absence of Jos Buttler who is skipping the rest of the IPL matches to focus on the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup.
The dismissal occurred in the eighth over of the RR innings. Tom Kohler-Cadmore pulled away, and Rahul Chahar followed up with a little faster delivery. The batter swung it down the ground, but received more height than distance, resulting in a catch by Jitesh Sharma at long-on.

Following Buttler’s departure, Tom Kohler-Cadmore has a tall order. The latter scored 359 runs over 11 innings, including two centuries. Meanwhile, Rahul Chahar will try to finish the season on a good note after taking eight wickets in his opening seven outings.
