Rohit scored 68 runs off 38 balls before catching Mohsin Khan off Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling. As he walked back, practically the whole Wankhede Stadium applauded the former Mumbai Indians skipper for his magnificent knock.

Last night former Indian ope­ner Wasim Jaffer shared a poignant photo of Rohit on X platform. In an e­motional caption Jaffer expresse­d that he believe­d it marked the final appearance­ of the Hitman in Mumbai Indians iconic colors.

Following the MI-LSG match, Rohit was seen speaking with Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani and Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka. It would be intriguing to watch if Rohit is kept by MI ahead of the IPL 2025 super auction, or if he seeks a new IPL home next season.
