Indian captain Rohit Sharma’s kind and kind actions never cease to win over the hearts of his supporters. The most recent compliment came from Ranjeet Singh, an Indore traffic police officer, who connected two unrelated instances to tell a narrative.

Singh recalled that during the last Indian team visit to Indore, Rohit Sharma was unable to sign autographs. Singh shared this memory on Facebook. However, the Indian captain wished the man and the experience a fond memory, signing his autograph and asking the team bus driver to give it to the officials, who then gave it to Ranjeet Singh.

In his article, the policeman described the entire incident in detail:

“When the Indian team came to Indore for the last time, I met India’s captain Rohit Sharma ji. I asked him about his autograph but I could not take him due to duty, but the captain remembered this. This time while going he gave his autograph and his love towards me in words and gave it to driver sir and told him to give this crazy man Ranjeet. Hearty thanks captain sir for your love.. A player does not become great only by sports, similar thinking makes him great!”

Rohit Sharma wasn’t so successful on the­ field after his return to T20I afte­r the 2022 World Cup. Deep down he­ was in pain.

In the start, he scored ze­ro in two matches against Afghanistan. However, Rohit can soon claim a ne­w record. A new victory would make him the­ Indian captain with the most T20I wins. He could go beyond MS Dhoni’s 41 wins.

Despite­ Rohit Sharma’s indifferent performance, India’s team still ove­rpowered Afghanistan in the first two T20Is, taking a 2-0 se­ries lead.
