This heartwarming gesture occurred during a training session in Florida coinciding with the cancellation of Indias final groupstage match against Canada due to a wet outfield. As a result the Men in Blue have relocated to Barbados to tackle their upcoming challenge the Super Eight stage.

On the batting front, Rishabh Pant has been outstanding for the Men in Blue since his return to international cricket more than a year after surviving a car accident. The left-hander returned with scores of 36*, 42, and 18 against Ireland, Pakistan, and co-hosts USA, respectively. India won all three games to advance to the next round.
In addition, the 26-year-old has seven receptions in just three games. Pant will now try to extend his purple streak in the second round.
