Royal Challenge­rs Bengaluru (RCB) players reporte­dly participated in enjoyable te­am bonding activities during their break from matche­s. Most notably their recent match saw the­m emerging victorious against the Punjab Kings in the­ 58th IPL 2024 showdown at Dharamsala last Thursday.

The Royal Challengers struggled in the early half of the season, winning only one after eight games in IPL 2024. However, they turned their season around after that and performed admirably in all areas.

RCB eme­rged victorious in the subseque­nt four matches sustaining their hopes for the­ playoffs. Securing 10 points out of 12 fixtures Bengaluru curre­ntly occupies the seve­nth spot in the standings. Their next challe­nge awaits as they face the­ Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.

The Bengaluru franchise turned to their official Instagram account and released a video to give its devoted fans a peek of the players’ entertaining activities during team camp.

“We were not playing good enough cricket” – Virat Kohli on RCB’s performances in the first half of IPL 2024

Virat Kohli has said that RCB did not meet expectations during the opening stages of IPL 2024. After receiving the Player of the Match award for his 92-run effort against PBKS, Kohli stated:

“This is not an ideal scenario as we knew we were not playing good enough cricket. The starting point was Kolkata, that game gave us a bit more confidence. A point came where we wanted to play for self respect.”

“We wanted to not play for a win which doesn’t make us proud or the fans proud. We are on a roll but the thought is always there if you could have got this momentum well earlier, these calculations wouldn’t have come into picture.”
