Ravindra Jadeja, India’s all-rounder, recently shared his thoughts about his dad’s interview with Dainik Bhaskar. The famous player’s dad, Anirudhsinh Jadeja, detailed his strained tie with his son and daughter-in-law, Rivaba Jadeja.
Anirudhsinh accused Rivaba for causing a schism in the family, adding that he had no communication with his son, despite the fact that they live in the same city. He even said he regrets Ravindra Jadeja’s success as a cricketer.
Shortly after the interview went viral on social media, Ravindra Jadeja posted a short statement supporting his wife and rejecting all of his father’s charges.
“Everything said in the nonsense interview recently published by Divyabhaskar is totally false and untrue. It is a one-sided story. I completely reject it. I strongly condemn the actions taken to malign my wife’s image. I also have many things to say; it’s better that I don’t make them public.”

Anirudhsinh’s difficult relationship with his daughter-in-law was clear when he pushed people not to vote for Rivaba when she ran in the Gujarat Assembly Elections in 2022 after being given a ticket by the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).
Another factor to consider was Ravindra Jadeja’s sister, Naynaba Jadeja, who ran against Rivaba in the Indian National Congress (INC) colors with the assistance of her father, who vowed loyalty to the same party. The entire campaign featured a compelling back-and-forth competition between the two Jadeja household members.
Rivaba was victorious in the inter-family battle, winning the North Jamnagar constituency with 88,835 votes.
Ravindra Jadeja’s injury update: All-rounder hopeful of playing third Test against England
The all-rounder missed the second Test against England in Vishakapatnam owing to an injury suffered in the series opener in Hyderabad.
Ravindra Jadeja is teaming up with the National Cricket Academy’s physios in Bengaluru. His goal to get back in shape for the third Test against Ben Stokes and his team. The match is set for February 15 in Jadeja’s own Rajkot.
The team’s management is still expecting thorough information from the NCA before officially naming Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul to the squad for the remainder of the series.
