Rahul Dravid, Team India’s head coach, praised the players and coaching staff following the hosts’ 4-1 series victory against England.
The icing on top was England’s defeat at Dharamsala, by an innings and 64 runs. Kuldeep Yadav was selected Player of the Match in the last Test. He grabbed seven wickets in two innings, scoring 30 runs.
BCCI shared a video where Rahul Dravid compliments the team for their resilience after losing the initial Test in Hyderabad. He admires that even when some top players were not available, the rest of the Indian team stepped up to the plate.

In relation to Test cricket’s changing fortunes, Rahul Dravid stated:
“Series like this have to be earned. This is tough. Test cricket is hard at times, in terms of skill, physically and mentally. Test cricket is hard but there’s great satisfaction in the end. At the end of such a series, the satisfaction that you get coming from one behind to win four, is just phenomenal.”

Speaking to the host broadcaster following India’s victory in Dharamsala, Rahul Dravid praised Rohit Sharma for effectively managing the team’s young players and extracting the most from them. He was overjoyed to witness how Rohit inspired his team on their route to a historic series victory.
Dravid stated:
“I think he’s (Rohit Sharma) a terrific leader. And just the guys gravitate towards him phenomenally, which is fantastic to see.”

Following a resounding hammering of England in Dharamsala, India has strengthened their hold on the top of the WTC points table. They have 68.51 points percentage, while England is in seventh position with only 17.5 points.
