The Chennai Super Kings or CSK as fans call them had quite a topsyturvy journey during the recent IPL 2024 season. They clinched the fifth spot in the points tally managing to secure seven victories and suffering as many defeats. Their quest for a playoff berth fell just short by a whisker.

In what was likely to be MS Dhoni’s final IPL appearance a bittersweet moment unfolded as the Men in Yellow missed the mark in a pivotal clash against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

MS Dhoni, who had been in excellent batting form all season, helped the club get close, but his wicket in the final over ended CSK’s hopes of finishing in the top four.
