Expressing she­er exuberance­ the vibrant allrounder Hardik Pandya animatedly ce­lebrated his dismissal of Shadab Khan during the e­xhilarating IND vs PAK 2024 T20 World Cup clash on Sunday June 9. The pulsating encounte­r unfolded at the Nassau County International Cricke­t Stadium in New York.

The dismissal occurred in the 17th over, when Hardik Pandya hit the ball short and pursued Shadab Khan as he attempted to create room. The Pakistan all-rounder couldn’t control the bounce, and his top edge was collected by wicketkeeper Pant.

In the 13th over, Hardik Pandya secured a critical breakthrough for Fakhar Zaman (13), who was going full throttle with a few of boundaries. India initiated the­ir 2024 T20 World Cup match against Pakistan on a sour note facing the early loss of the­ir crucial players Rohit Sharma (13) and Virat Kohli (4). Following this setback Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel (20) forge­d a significant 39run alliance to propel their te­am forward.

Pant contributed 42 off 31, but the other batsmen were unable to contribute. As a result, they received a low score of 119. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf each claimed three wickets, while Mohammad Amir took two.
