SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) hitter Abhishek Sharma demolished the Mumbai Indians’ (MI) bowling team in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) match on Wednesday.

Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to field first at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. While Hyderabad lost starter Mayank Agarwal early on, Abhishek and Travis Head combined to give SRH an impressive start.

Abhishek seemed at ease against Mumbai’s star-studded bowling attack, taking them to the cleaners. Throughout his time at the crease, the southpaw smashed seven sixes and three fours.

The brilliant kid scored the fastest half-century by an SRH hitter in IPL history, clearing 50 runs in just 16 balls. Abhishek Sharma hit 62 runs off just 23 deliveries in the match before being dismissed.
